Ipamorelin Peptide Australia: 10mg Standalone Vial

Ipamorelin peptide Australia: this 10mg vial holds ipamorelin on its own, with no second peptide mixed in. It is a single five residue growth hormone secretagogue. A standalone vial like this one lets a lab study it apart from any GHRH analogue. If the shop marks it sold out, WhatsApp us and we will hold one from the coming batch. Glow Labs posts it from Traralgon, Gippsland VIC, with fast delivery and tracking, 2-3 days.

What it is

Research overview

Ipamorelin as a single compound

Ipamorelin came out of a Novo Nordisk chemistry programme in the 1990s. PubChem lists it under the code NNC 26-0161. The team built it from a series of compounds that dropped the central Ala-Trp pair of an older peptide, GHRP-1.

The finished molecule has five residues. Three of them are unusual. Aib is an amino acid with an extra methyl group. D-2-naphthylalanine is a bulky ring-bearing residue, and D-phenylalanine is the mirror form of a common amino acid.

What the discovery work measured

The 1998 paper appeared in the European Journal of Endocrinology. It tested growth hormone release in rat pituitary cells, in anaesthetised rats and in conscious pigs.

The authors used blockers for both the GHRP receptor and the GHRH receptor. These showed that ipamorelin works through the GHRP-like route, as GHRP-6 does. They called it the first selective growth hormone secretagogue.

Later studies in people

A 1999 study in Pharmaceutical Research gave ipamorelin by infusion to healthy male volunteers. It modelled how blood levels and growth hormone changed over time. It reported a short half-life of about two hours and a single burst of growth hormone release.

In 2014 a phase 2 trial tested ipamorelin in 117 adults after bowel surgery. The report appeared in the International Journal of Colorectal Disease. It called ipamorelin a ghrelin receptor agonist. It looked at the time until patients could tolerate solid food. It found no clear difference from placebo.

Neither study led to an approved medicine.

Standalone vial or blend

A single compound vial lets a lab link any result to ipamorelin alone. In a two-peptide vial, the second peptide's effects cannot be split out.

Our blend page covers ipamorelin paired with CJC-1295. This page is for researchers who need the pentapeptide by itself.

How to keep ipamorelin powder

Ipamorelin has no methionine, cysteine or natural tryptophan, the residues most linked to oxidation. Bachem notes that peptides tend to take up water from the air, so keep the dry cake away from moisture.

Hold it below -15 °C in a closed vial. Before weighing, let it reach room temperature inside a desiccator, then close it again without delay.

Regulatory status

In Australia

Ipamorelin was trialled as a medicine but never approved. The vial we sell is a research peptide limited to laboratory work.

Australia's Poisons Standard lists ipamorelin by name in Schedule 4, which covers prescription only medicines. It is also one of the substances in Appendix D, clause 5. That clause says such a poison must not be held without authority. The authority comes from the law of the state or territory where it is kept.

FAQ

Your questions

What is ipamorelin?

A man-made peptide with five amino acids. It prompts the pituitary to release growth hormone by acting on the GHRP-like receptor. Its 1998 discovery paper called it the first selective growth hormone secretagogue.

How is this different from the CJC-1295 and ipamorelin blend?

This vial holds ipamorelin only. The blend adds CJC-1295, a GHRH analogue, so the two cannot be studied apart.

Has ipamorelin been tested in people?

Yes, in research settings: a 1999 study in healthy men and a 2014 phase 2 trial after bowel surgery. It is not an approved medicine.

What is the difference between tesamorelin and ipamorelin?

Tesamorelin copies GHRH and acts on the GHRH receptor. Ipamorelin is a much smaller peptide that acts on the GHRP-like receptor instead.

Is ipamorelin legal in Australia?

Australia's Poisons Standard places ipamorelin in Schedule 4, the prescription only group. It is also named in Appendix D, clause 5. That means you need authority under your state or territory law to hold it. It is not an approved medicine.
